His obsession with cinema began at the age of five, triggered by the visceral experience of watching Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. By nine, he was already behind a VHS camera, charting an inevitable course toward filmmaking. After debuting in amateur festivals at fifteen, he solidified his craft through formal film school education and extensive hands-on experience across various departments on professional sets.
His directorial portfolio is marked by critical recognition: in 2016, his short film "Uma Mumu" earned a Special Jury Prize, followed by the success of "Zhaba.by" (2020), which was shortlisted for the prestigious PÖFF (Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival).
