moon is a jamaican-american filmmaker and author based in atlanta, originally from fort lauderdale, fl. she is best known for her viral, award-winning fantasy web series juju: the web series, which earned her the $100k comcast black experience on xfinity grant. her passion for storytelling has been a part of her since childhood, inspired by her love of fairy tales, fables, and folklore. since 2019, she has created and produced a variety of genre-spanning projects including robyn hood, starring gail bean (snowfall, p-valley), criblore, featuring terayle hill (cw’s all american) and brittany s. hall (hbo’s david makes man and ballers), and the newlyweds: blood at the altar, starring latoya tonodeo (power: book ii) and arlen escarpeta (nbc’s found, final destination 5).
