Omguru (Born as Pritesh Ashok Kumar Himtalal Shah; also known as Sadguru Omrushi Swami andOmrushi is an Indian actor, writer, director, and producer, and the founder of Omguru Films (ProductionHouse). He hails from a Gujarati family background, who has contributed to Gujarati cinema through short films such as Gamdhani, Vardan Ke Shrap, and Mind Game, where he worked as a writer, director, producer, and also acted. His films have received recognition at several national and international platforms. He is also the founder and host of the Ahmedabad International Film Festival, held annually in Ahmedabad, which promotes Indian and international cinema and provides a platform for filmmakers from around the globe. He received the National Award in 2016, presented by Pranab Mukherjee, for his outstanding work for people with disabilities.
