Germán Correa began his studies at the University of Panama, but from childhood, he was always intrigued by the magic of cinema. After winning second place in a competition at his college, he decided to found, along with his best friends, the small film studio known today as Slappers Studios, where he works as Director of Photography and editor, and also assists with directing and screenwriting. He has distinguished himself as Director of Photography on works such as "Rojo (2022)," which won two awards at "Panalandia" and one at the University of Panama's short film competition. He later directed and photographed "Acepto (2023)" and "Estancado (2023)," both of which received honorable mentions at GECU. That same year, he was the cinematographer for "Tú (2023)," directed by Nitson D. Carmona Solis, a short film that earned them another award at the short film competition.
