A commercial director for 15 years, Thibault Mombellet writes and directs around ten award-winning short films, some of which have been broadcast on television (OCS, Canal+, etc.). His latest film, L’Anniversaire (The Birthday), was a finalist at the Nikon Film Festival in 2024, and will also compete at the Liège Comedy Film Festival and the Très Courts International Film Festival in 2025. He continues to be a regular on the festival circuit, with nearly a hundred selections and several awards.
On the development side, he was a recipient of the SACD-FRANCE TV web series grant in 2018 (followed by a writing agreement with France TV Slash). He has since received the CNC's Audiovisual Innovation Fund three times for various series projects (concept, writing, and rewriting).
