Biography

Jens Andreas Wawrczeck (born July 12, 1963, in Nykøbing Mors, Denmark) is a German actor, singer, voice actor, radio drama performer, audiobook narrator, and author. Furthermore, he works as a dubbing director and dialogue scriptwriter. His voice is best known for the EUROPA radio drama series *Die drei ???* (The Three Investigators), in which he has voiced the role of the second detective, Peter Shaw, since 1979.

Wawrczeck completed his acting training in Hamburg, Vienna, and New York City.

At the age of just thirteen, he made his debut in 1976 under the direction of Volker von Collande in Graham Greene’s *Der verbindliche Liebhaber* (The Complaisant Lover) at the Hamburger Kammerspiele. After graduating from the Bismarck-Gymnasium in Hamburg, he studied from 1986 to 1989 at the Hamburgische Schauspielstudio Hildburg Frese as well as at the Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna.
