In 2012, she began writing and reporting for CBSNews.com on domestic and foreign policy, U.S. politics, and general interest news. She joined The Washington Post as a congressional correspondent in 2018. In 2021, she was appointed the anchor of The Early 202, a political newsletter from The Washington Post.
