Yevgeniya Regent is a young filmmaker from Ukraine. Starting as an actress and director in theatre, Yevgeniya transitioned into film by attending recognized film programs. In the summer of 2022, she released her first major work, a short film titled "Meatballs," which garnered awards and recognition. In 2023, her documentary short film, "Prayer of the Birds," achieved tremendous success among the public and received prestigious awards at numerous international film festivals.
