Montay Romero is a Los Angeles based multi disciplinary artist who was born in San Diego, California. He received his BFA in Dance Performance from the University of the Arts (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) in 2015. Montay is a choreographer, educator, movement artist, and performer. He has worked with a range of celebrities, brands, actors, musicians, and public figures through commercial, concert, and performative dance. With a strong desire to unfold the layers of his identity as an Afro-Latino queer male, Montay is on a journey of excavation and discovery, both physically and spiritually. The relationship and connection to his inner world continues to serve as a navigation system for the embodiment of his expression and creativity.
