Ashley Kilpatrick was born on August 15, 1989, in Nassau, Bahamas to supportive parents who encouraged her creativity. She discovered her knack for poetry and spoken word in high school and began writing and performing her pieces at school talent shows as well as church talent shows. She was always extremely active in her church, Bahamas Faith Ministries, where she was able to hone her acting chops on stage, performing in stage plays during their annual week long Youth Alive conferences. One of her first roles was "Rare" in "The X-Factor" written and directed by Radel Parks. The following year she played the lead "Keisha" in "The Revelation" written by Tyrone Burrows and directed by Radel Parks.
