Sirat Boumediène

Sirat Boumediène, known as Diden, (Arabic: سيراط بومدين), is an Algerian actor born September 26, 1947 in Oran and died August 20, 1995 in Mostaganem.

Born and raised in Oran in the Saint Antoine district, before devoting himself to comedy, he was a seizure agent. He joined the theater at the end of the 1960s. It was Ould Abderrahmane Kaki who discovered his talent at a young age. He appeared on stage with the artist Boualem Hadjouti in plays (Litham, Li Kla Ikhalles, El Balaout) and also with Abdelkader Alloula (El Algue, El Khobza, Hammam Rabbi, Litham, Ledjouad, Toufah and El Meïda). In 1990, Sirat Boumédiene joined the May 1 cooperative, created by Abdelkader Alloula. Two years later, in 1992, he joined his friends from the independent troupe El Kalaâ, made up of actors Mkio Sakina (Sonia), Mohamed Ben Guettaf, Ziani Cherif Ayad and Azzedine Medjoubi.
