Lucjan Dembiński (September 30, 1924 – May 22, 1998) was an animated film director and puppeteer. A graduate of the Puppet Acting Department at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Kraków, he initially worked as an actor and director at the Rozmaitości Theatre in Wrocław. From 1958, he collaborated regularly with Se-Ma-For. He has directed nearly one hundred films for children, including "Pyza," "The Adventures of Colargol the Bear," "The Moomins," "Winter in Moominland," and "The Happy Days of the Moomins." Lucjan Dembiński directed the first film about Teddy Drop Ear, which premiered in 1962.
