Biography

Stephen Blake Woltz is an American professional wrestler best known by the ring name “Hangman” Adam Page. Known for his cowboy-inspired persona and emotional storytelling in the ring, Page has become one of the most prominent stars of All Elite Wrestling (AEW) since the company’s founding.

Woltz began his wrestling career on the independent circuit in 2008 before gaining wider recognition in Ring of Honor (ROH) in 2011. During his time in ROH he developed into a rising talent and, in 2016, joined the influential Bullet Club stable, where he adopted the “Hangman” Adam Page character. As part of Bullet Club he teamed with The Young Bucks to win the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship and also appeared regularly in New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) through the partnership between the two promotions.
