Stephanie Green, better known by her stage name Viper (September 12, 1959 – December 24, 2010) was an American pornographic actress known for a prominent full body snake tattoo, for co-founding Fans of X-Rated Entertainment with Bill Margold, and for her abrupt disappearance from the industry in 1991.
Born in Tennessee but raised in New Hampshire, Green had danced in the ballet throughout child and was training in New York City until she grew tired and in 1978 joined the United States Marine Corps, rising to the rank of corporal. After six years, Green was expelled from the Corps for fraternizing with her superior officers, and worked a year in Baltimore as a prostitute and an entertainer at a nightclub. In 1986, Green moved to Los Angeles to enter the pornographic film industry. Soon thereafter she met Bill Margold, an influential pornographic actor, director, and agent.
