But like a reliable friend, you can count on this honest street vendor to be on that pedestrian bridge everyday, selling an old-school snack that few people eat and even fewer people appreciate. Like a forgotten endangered species struggling to survive in a modernized society, the vendor in the story is just one of the many street vendors in this city hoping that there's still room for a man trying to survive with a small cart.
