While at the clinic, he meets Federico, a young athlete suffering from ataxia and confined to a wheelchair, yet possessed of an extraordinary life force. An unexpected friendship blossoms between them, leading Mauro to make an impulsive decision: to escape the routine and set off with Federico on an unconventional journey.
